How to join and what to expect
You can join by contacting us via the contact
page. If you have any questions about joining or
you'd just like more information you can also use the contact page.
Once you've joined you become a fully fledged member and can start
re-enacting. You can attend any of the events we do, both private
battles and public shows, as well as gain access to our members area and busy online forum.

Here are a few Q&A that may help you before joining
Q: What will it cost?
It can be an expensive hobby when you first start buying your kit,
but once you have it should last a life time. We don't expect you
purchase all your gear at once, we can lend out gear to new members
for a few events until you have the bare essentials. The cost of
a private battle is usually £50 - £85 for the weekend
including the entrance fee and weapon hire, public events are free
to re-enactors.
Q: How old do I have to be to join?
You should be at least 17 years old, have a responsible attitude and be fairly physically fit. There
is no maximum age but do take into account that you can be climbing
and walking a good few miles over a weekend, carrying your equipment
including your ammunition and weapon.
Q: What will my first event be like?
If you've never done re-enactment before, it can seem quite daunting
taking that first step and attending your first event, but we try
to make people feel welcome and will readily give help and advice
on any part of this hobby. We are a friendly unit dedicated to re-enacting Fallschirmjager, who come
together to have some fun and talk about our hobby.
