Normandy 2008

An initiative by Fallschirmjager re-enactors from across Europe to create a living history display at Dead Man's Corner in Normandy. Re-enactors from the UK, Ireland, Italy, Germany, Denmark all came together for this event. The event was highly praised by veterans from US 101st Airborne, British Airborne and German Paratroopers. Our thanks the 'Battle Group South' for bringing along the 4 German veterans, it's not often you get to sing 'Rot scheint die son' with Old Hares.


Due to the nature of these photos some vehicles or reenactors may be from
other groups, they may also include past and present members of FJR6.
